Equipment

Apparel

HEAD

HANDS

When it gets colder, put on a pair of glove liners with good grip.

Look for windproof fabric technologies that protect from the elements

while maintaining dexterity.

TOP: BASE LAYER

Select wool or synthetic tee shirts or 1/4 zip long sleeves. These fabrics are great with moisture transfer and odor avoidance.

JACKET / VEST

Some compact packable puffy insulation is easily stowed if it's warm

UNDERWEAR

Ex Officio, always. Wear one pair all weekend with the most comfortable, breathable, quick drying briefs.

BOTTOMS

A great everyday then into the outdoors pant has a comfortable cut, 4 way stretch tech fabric and a range of crossover colors.

SOCKS

Wool socks transfer moisture most efficiently, avoid odor and continue to insulate when wet. Select greater weight and cuff height for lower temperatures.

FOOTWEAR

A durable leather hiking boot for off trail rambling. A waterproof membrane can be welcome on colder fall days.

2. Did You Eat?

3. Repeat!

You harvested a natural food source from your local environment. That's awesome.

It's an honest, well earned meal. Proceeds from that license you bought will protect and sustain more acres of habitat for future animals.

You deserve a reward. Maybe one day, after you submit photos of your hunt and harvest, you'll receive a pheasant token, that unlocks merchandise exclusive to those are one with the pheasant. That day is not today. But you're excited even without the incentive, you say?! Well, submit and share your bounty anyways!
