Select wool or synthetic tee shirts or 1/4 zip long sleeves. These fabrics are great with moisture transfer and odor avoidance.

Some compact packable puffy insulation is easily stowed if it's warm
UNDERWEAR
Ex Officio, always. Wear one pair all weekend with the most comfortable, breathable, quick drying briefs.
BOTTOMS
A great everyday then into the outdoors pant has a comfortable cut, 4 way stretch tech fabric and a range of crossover colors.
SOCKS
Wool socks transfer moisture most efficiently, avoid odor and continue to insulate when wet. Select greater weight and cuff height for lower temperatures.
FOOTWEAR
A durable leather hiking boot for off trail rambling. A waterproof membrane can be welcome on colder fall days.
